Community Services Worker Internship Experience
The Community Services Worker program equips learners with essential skills in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, preparing them to address social issues effectively. Participants gain practical knowledge in areas such as social welfare, mental health, and community resources, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to community service projects. By applying their classroom learning, students can engage in projects that require assessing community needs, developing intervention strategies, and supporting vulnerable populations. Whether you operate a shelter, group home, youth program, or support agency, our interns are trained to jump in and contribute to your mission. They are familiar with working in diverse settings and are eager to help facilitate programs, document services, or engage with clients—all under professional supervision.

Occupational Health & Safety Internship Experience
This internship experience is designed for learners from Herzing College's Occupational Health and Safety program, providing them with the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world challenges in workplace safety. Learners will be equipped to identify workplace hazards, understand safety policies, and participate in safety discussions. By engaging in this experience, learners can offer practical solutions to enhance workplace safety, benefiting host employers with actionable insights and improvements. Hosting an intern allows you to evaluate potential hires in real time. Herzing College’s Occupational Health & Safety students are already eligible to write the Canadian Registered Safety Technician exam, and their internship is the final step in launching their careers. It's a great opportunity to mentor and assess skilled candidates early.

Cyber Security Internship Experience (May 2025)
The Cybersecurity Specialist Diploma program equips learners with the skills necessary to monitor and maintain network security systems effectively. Participants will gain hands-on experience in identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and responding to cyber threats. This program bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, enabling learners to tackle real-world cybersecurity challenges. By engaging in industry-relevant projects, learners can demonstrate their ability to apply their skills to protect organizational assets and data.

Our learners are equipped with foundational knowledge in cybersecurity and are eager to apply their skills to real-world challenges. Students are prepared to: Analyze and assess security risks Develop and implement security strategies Research and resolve complex security issues As an employer, your role includes: Providing regular guidance and feedback Ensuring the students have the necessary information and resources Conducting a Weekly online inquiry session for questions/ topic support Offering constructive feedback through the Riipen platform
